“I wish I was in Eldoret. I have told our supporters and everyone to welcome Raila in Eldoret. We welcome him to share with us his agenda. Others should also be allowed to market their policies anywhere in the republic. We should not heckle each other, everyone should be given equal chance to market their agenda,” he said.
The lawmaker suggested that he would have done everything possible to see that Raila’s tour in the region is successful.
Sudi is a known staunch supporter of Deputy President William Ruto who is political an arch rival to the ODM party leader.
He said divisional and tribal politics have no place in the current age, asking the former prime minister to feel welcomed and go about his business unperturbed.
“Baba Amollo Raila Odinga, you are my real father. Welcome to Eldoret, feel free to market your agenda. Eldoret is home to all tribes. We value peace. We welcome you,” Sudi stated.
