According to reports, William Ruto, leader of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the Kenya Kwanza coalition, is expected to reveal cabinet members about him.

Reports of faces and names of people supposed to be in Vice President William Ruto’s cabinet have surfaced online, sparking mixed reactions among Kenyans.

Sources indicated that his cabinet will include politicians and technocrats, and further reports indicated that half of the cabinet members will be women.

Expected members include: Justin Muturi, Kindiki Kithure, Musalia Mudavadi, Salim Mvunya, Hassan Omar, Alfred Mutua, Josphat Nanok, Peris Tobiko, Charles Keter and Charles Nyachae.

He will replace his running mate Rigathi Gachagua who will have powers over other cabinet secretaries. This comes weeks after Raila Odinga unveiled her cabinet team which included both males and females.

Kenyans have reacted with many saying the team is capable of performing and are welcoming it.
