Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto has taken many by surprise considering the amount of money he uses in his campaign trails as he tries to lure Kenyans to vote for him in the fourth coming general elections to be held in August this year.

But DP William Ruto has been defended by his close ally. According to Citizen TV Kenya, the outgoing Turkana County incumbent Governor Josphat Nanok has come out to clear the air on how DP William Ruto funds his campaigns.

Many have been questioning his sudden rise of wealth considering that he claims to be a hustler. At the same time, he has always been exposed for engaging in corrupt scandals.

Governor Josphat Nanok said that DP William Ruto’s presidential campaign is funded by well-wishers but could not tell who are those well-wishers.

Most Kenyans know where and how DP William Ruto acquired his wealth and what Governor Nanok is doing is just trying to play their cards safely given that it is all about politics.
